ITRACONAZOLE 1% W/W 75 g
It belongs to the triazole class of antifungal drugs. It is used to treat fungal infections in immunocompromised and non-immunosuppressed patients. It inhibits endogenous respiration and prevents transformation of yeast mycelial forms. It inhibits the triglyceride and phospholipid biosynthesis.

Mechanism of Action
Itraconazole inhibits the enzyme 14-alpha demethylase which is cytochrome P-450-dependent enzymes which is responsible for conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol which is the component of fungal cell membrane.
